Colourless,transparent oily liquid,b.p.377ºC,viscosity 25 c.p.(25ºC),refractive index 1.449~1.451(25ºC).
A superior cold-resisting plasticizer,it has good plasticizing effect and better heat endurance,light-resisting and electrical properties. It is chiefly used in processing polyvinl chloride and its copolymer,cellulosic resins and synthetic rubbers,etc..
It is usually mixed with phthalic esters in use to minimize its migration rate.
